I started with a 25 gallon tank for two Oscars and a Common Pleco. I knew how big they get and it has been about three months and the three are getting big. I have been planning on buying a 100 gallon tank and by luck, I found a 80 gallon on the side of the road.

Reminds me of this one video from Exotic's lair where he was feeding one of his tarantulas but the thing is, it went after the roach even while it was still in his tongs (because who gives a tarantula food with their bare hands?) and it proceeded to DRAG the roach into its lair as if it was a high budget cinematic shot of a demon dragging a human into hell.

I have one about the same size and he will eat whatever I put in and then wait for superworms and eat a bunch of those. He will do this every day with about 20 adult crickets. Not a problem feeder at all.

Pls do not do this, neither put sand in the cage. If you put sand in the cage, while eating, the bearded dragon could ingest the sand.

Do not follow this video if you care those uvb lights don't work. The cage isn't big enough list goes on.

Washed play sand from the Hardware store. 12 bucks and I had enough for a 75 gallon tank. NEVER had an issue. I'm pretty sure they're originally from the Australian deserts

You need at least 3 hides one in the shade area, one in the basking area, one in the middle. You need temp and humidity sensors, a proper uvb light, and I would put topsoil and play sand as the substrate.

The big issue with this is the sand, and not having a proper flat surface under the basking light to let the Beardie digest their food correctly, which can lead to impaction. Also, that tile will collect bacteria, and lead to fungal issues. TBH anything over 40 gallon is sufficient for a grown beardie. But bigger is fine!
